Cloud Computing Software Architect
Cloud Architect is sought to provide leadership on the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. Incumbent will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. Additionally, the Cloud Architect is expected to think strategically about long term technological capabilities and cost optimizations and is the primary decision-maker regarding how her / his domains can and should be architected to meet customer demands. Domains may include infrastructure-automation technologies (e.g., Chef, Puppet), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), compute, storage, network, data, and security.
Required Expectations:
- Utilize Experience with U.S.-based customers.
- Conduct Risk Assessments of various cloud technologies.
- Ensure Scalability and Agility.
- Provide Governance and Oversight.
- Align Cloud Architecture with Enterprise Architecture.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams.
- Mentor and Train
