Controls & Automation Technician
Leading automation solutions provider seeks Automation Technician:
- Able to read & interpret schematics, drawings as well as comprehension of electricity & circuits
- Associate's in engineering or industrial technology a plus
- AC & DC drives
- Industrial processes and control systems experience
- Allen Bradley PLC's, HMI's, VFD's, SCADA
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric, Modicon, Siemens
- Ability to read, interpret, and redline electrical schematics
- Start up, commissioning, troubleshooting of electrical/instrumentation systems
- Ability to use a multi meter to troubleshoot & correct issues with electrical & control circuits, instrumentation, drives, etc
- Experience completing I/O checkouts & identifying, diagnosing, and correcting problems that arise
- Control panel design and testing
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- P&ID’s and loop diagrams
- Power, controls and instrumentation systems
- Client interaction skills
- Checkout, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting
- AutoCAD
- Industrial Communications (DeviceNet and Industrial Ethernet)
- Food & Beverage, Baking, Water/wastewater, automated manufacturing experience
- Robotics and Material Handling Systems experience (FANUC, ABB,etc)
- Ability to work well independently
- Ability to travel 20%
