SENIOR ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER
Growing Lehigh Valley PA electrical construction contractor is actively seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator / Project Manager. Applicant must have experience in both commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
Responsibilities Include:
-Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints
-Complete takeoff’s and quantity survey
-Obtain quotations from vendors and suppliers
-Review estimates with Project manager and assist in bid preparation
-Create vendor and subcontractor purchase orders
-Communications with Architects, Engineers and CM’s
-Analyze Bid Specifications and addenda
-Develop RFI’s, respond to information, submittals and change requests
-Track bid dates and Bid Document availability
-Obtain Vendor pre-qualification information
-Work with software including AccuBid, Procore, BidDocs New Forma, Submittal Exchange, etc.
Skills / Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical estimating
-Trade School or Post Graduate training preferred
-Must be proficient in word, excel, blue beam, cad, estimating software, etc.
-Must be self-motivated, independent thinker with a strong work ethic and be able to multi task
-Ability to comprehend and retain information
-Must have strong oral and written communication skills
