Job Details:
Automation Engineer DeltaV - significant experience on the integrator side of automation (i.e. designing and implementing large systems, not just end user experience supporting systems). The ability to develop/architect system design. Automation engineering design, programming, and testing for configuration of the plant process control system (PCS) from concept design through commission and qualification. Provide project support activities such as design, implementation, changes, testing, trouble-shooting, and project management. Update automation functional specifications for automation lead approval, troubleshoot the PCS system and software, prepare automation change record forms and perform offline and online coding and testing. Troubleshooting of process, equipment, and system malfunctions and/or failures involving the PCS system.
The ability and interest in leading teams. The ability and interest in mentoring others.
Keys – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Biopharmaceutical processes, understanding of control system network topology, GMP and validation experience, knowledge of S88 Batch standards and experience implementing batch systems, instrumentation experience.
Automation Engineer DeltaV, Emerson DeltaV, Syncade, GAMP, additional skills and knowledge considered a plus Rockwell Software, Allen Bradley PLC’s, FactoryTalk View Machine Edition (ME), SCADA and HMI packages (Intellution, and Wonderware).
Requires - US Citizen, Green Card/Perm Resident, work experience in the USA. The position is in Northern, CA. Relocation assistance available.
