Fleet Manager

A leading heavy construction firm in Delaware is seeking a Fleet Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Director, the Fleet Manager has primary responsibility to protect and manage the fleet of assets on site, both through in-house staff and outside vendors, to deliver world class customer satisfaction cost-effectively. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for Fleets, outside contractors/carriers, multi-site operations
  • Develops policies and procedures for operation of transportation system
  • Create schedules, rates, routes and assigns drivers
  • Submits recommendations for development of and compliance
    with DOT Regulations,
  • Analyses of vehicle and driver assignments, scheduling for possible
    consolidation
  • Review revenue reports and performance records
  • Initiate prep and distribution of trip schedule changes, rescheduling recommendations to administration
  • Other duties as assigned
