Lead Node Developer
My client has a full time remote Lead Node Developer open due to their growing business. You must be a Citizen or GC holder to qualify. Role will involve the following:
- Transforming an existing Ruby application to the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express, React and Node.js)
- Working with the scrum team to help lead the transition
- Building a React web application from scratch
- Rewriting existing Ruby in Node
- Design and building of a PERN stack app
- Create reliable JavaScript code
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Collaborate with offshore dev team
- Scrum Master, help to set up daily calls
They are seeking experience with as much of the following as possible:
- Node.js
- React.js including hooks, context and Redux
- RESTful APIs
- PostgreSQL
- Creation of database schemas
- Automated and Unit testing
- Azure, AWS and DevOps experience is preferred
- Experience with Ruby is preferred
