Senior Accountant
Role:
A leading consulting firm in Center City Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Accountant to add to their team. This is for a recent or aspiring CPA that is looking for the opportunity to expand your skills beyond just the accounting world and into operations and forensics as well. The Accountant will perform standard corporate accounting procedures of an S-Corp including billing, Payables, Receivables, general ledger, month-end, etc. This position will also act as a consultant on special projects performing forensic auditing and analysis relating to construction costs and damages.
A successful candidate will be analytical as well as self-motivated with the ability to continually learn the more and be interested in the construction management processes. You don't have to have the forensic accounting skills to start, this can be taught over time!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required (Accounting degree preferred)
- CPA preferred (or in progress) but not required
- 3 + years minimum in public accounting or corporate construction accounting
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Experience with Deltek preferred but not required
