Job Details:
Sr. Electrical & Instrumentation Designer
Leading Control Systems solution provider seeks veteran electrical & instrumentation designer experience. 7+ years Refinery/Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferred.
- 7+ years experience I&E designer in refinery/O&G related industry
- Bachelor's/Associate's degree
- AutoCAD experience (recent version)
- Calculations for conduit fill, conductor sizes/ampacity, deration factors, bend radii
- Cost estimates
- Head field install documentation
- P&IDs, one-line diagrams, electrical and control schematics, and loop diagrams
- Calculations: Wire and conduit sizing, voltage drop, conduit fill
- MCC layout design: motor starter/VFD
- Area classification drawings based on P&ID's & piping
- Design: Electrical one line, cable tray and heat trace plan
- Client interaction skills
- Ability to assist in other areas when needed (QC, etc)
