Senior Medical Director -Medical Communications
Promotional Medical Education – Healthcare Communications
Our client an excellent medical communications company specializing in Promotional Medical Education is actively in search of a seasoned Senior Medical Director.

A progressive scientific background with a firm foundation in promotional medical education directing client strategy, staff mentoring/management with the ability to lead an assigned scientific team in content creation as well as participate.
Position responsibilities & attributes sought:
- This role will provide oversight of all medical aspects for assigned clients including strategy, planning, and implementation on behalf of clients
- Provided strategic scientific support for business development initiatives
- US & global experience a plus
- Strong staff management & leadership experience
- Work collaboratively with the scientific affairs team to ensure the creation of high quality, accurate medical/scientific content
- Interaction with faculty, clients and key opinion leaders (KOL’s)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Launch experience desired
Qualifications:
- PhD, PharmD advanced degree with five (5) or more years of experience within a medical communications agency
- Diverse therapeutic experience a plus; any high science experience a plus
- Experience managing & mentoring direct reports
- Strategic thinking & direction experience
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Microsoft proficient (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software)
