Instrumentation, Electrical & Controls Technician
Premier firm seeks Instrument & Controls Technician:
- Technical Certification/Associates degree (Electronics, Control Systems, Instrumentation)
- 2+ years of instrumentation, automation & controls technician experience
- PLC's, HMI, SCADA, VFD, DCS experience
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley ControlLogix knowledge and experience a plus
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, VFD, AC/DC
- Siemens, DeltaV, GE Fanuc, Factory Talk, Wonderware Intouch, Modicon, Schneider Electric
- Calibrate instrumentation
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Instrumentation and electrical routine and major turnaround maintenance
- Troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and verifications on liquid and gas measurement devices, SCADA, VFD's and various flow, pressure, temperature, and level instruments
- Mining, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Water/Wastewater & other process controls industries
- E&I maintenance
- Maintenance activities of the instrumentation and electrical department in a water treatment plant
- Calibrate pressure, level, and temperature transmitters
- Troubleshooting process systems using Foxboro I/A DCS
- Rebuild pneumatic actuators for control valves
- Program and configured Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and PLC 5 PLC systems and maintained program back-up database
- Electrical installation including commissioning and startup assistance
- Material Handling, Conveyors, Sawmill / planer mill equipment, Semiconductor, Water/Wastewater, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage industries
- Maintain & troubleshoot integrated electro-mechanical systems
- Technical leadership & ability to work in a team environment
