Tax Manager
Philadelphia
A rapidly growing and well respected advisory firm is looking to add a Tax Manager to their team. As a Tax Manager, you'll work with small to middle market organizations as the face of the organization to help these clients run their businesses. Essentially, you'll act as a mini consultant to the business owners running engagements regarding tax implications, tax strategies, due diligence, supervising staff both internal and client staff, any research as well as resolve complex issues, developing the long-term strategic plans, as well as building out the team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee Individual, Partnership, high net worth and corporate returns
- Development of tax strategies
- Performs tax research and works with clients on tax planning and implementation
- Review information for tax and accounting changes, issues, or modifications
- Manager, train, and mentor staff
- Present and propose solutions / presentations to client issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master's is a plus
- 5-10 years of relevant public accounting or advisory experience with middle market or large clientele
- CPA is required
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (both as a team leader and team member)
