Job Details:
The Software Development Manager will oversee a team of developers who design, develop and maintain the operation of a several ASP.NET/C#/Angular Web applications with a specific emphasis on usability, performance and scalability.
Responsibilities:
Closely collaborate with developer teams, designers, and product management to ensure solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Analyzes the performance of hardware and software interfaces and identifies alternatives for optimizing the usage of computer resources.
Set work standards and goals, review progress, as well as manage individual performance to maintain team velocity at a high level.
Participates in designing, assistance with debugging difficult issues, and reviewing software documentation.
Mentor team of developers to provide technical guidance and help advance their skills and lead by example
Acts as liaison with manufacturers and vendors of software and application products, especially with regard to problem diagnosis and resolution.
Plans and executes software version upgrade releases and custom interfaces.
Recommends selection, approval, and acquisition of hardware, software, networking components, and services.
Qualifications:
Act as liaison between the product managers, senior management, and the development team
Experience hiring and mentoring software development staff
Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, Angular, CSS, and HTML
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Possess exceptional troubleshooting skills and be able to asses quickly complex programming applications
Able to keep up to date with the latest development software
Desired Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline
6+ years' experience working as a Software Developer with SQL, .NET framework using C#
3+ years' experience managing a team of Software Developers
Familiar with a variety of programming languages, processes, and best practice
Experience in Marketing industry with software development preferred
Experience with implementing CI/CD and DevOps concepts
