Sr. Automation Controls Engineer - Technical Lead
Top Automation Systems Integrator seeks veteran Controls Engineer / Technical Lead
Successful candidate needs to be familiar with the basics of our business around process controls (Programming of PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s, etc…).
- Bachelor's in Engineering
- Controls, drives, instrumentation, networking, software development
- Central Plant Utilities, Nuclear Power Plants, Coal Fired Power Plants, Oil & Gas, Cogen Plants, Combined cooling heat and power, Mission Critical, Pharma/Biotech, Semiconductor, etc.
- Chillers, Hot Water Systems, Steam Systems, Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, Cooling Towers, Air Handling Units, UPS, Power Monitoring, Leak Detection
- PLC programming from scratch: Rockwell/Allen Bradley RSLogix, MicroLogix, SLC, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, FlexLogix, RSView
- HMI: FactoryTalk View SE, RSView, Intellution iFix, VTScada, Wonderware InTouch & ArchestrA
- SCADA: Proficy Historian, iHistorian, Ignition
- Rockwell Historian, GE Proficy Historian, Intellution iHistorian databases
- Experience with central plants or industrial scale HVAC systems would be a big plus. Experience managing fast paced, high pressure projects to meet technical demands.
- Ideally worked on construction site for controls and/or electrical.
- Responsible for design execution, software development lead, tools / module development, lead implementation and QA/QC.
- Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric PLC experience preferred
