Job Details:
Application Engineer - Product Design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required;
- At least five years of mechanical engineering experience including producing 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks with very precise tolerances in metric units.
- At least two years of SolidWorks software experience;
- Previous linear motion or robotics experience a plus;
- Working knowledge of CNC manufacturing systems (Horizontal lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Attends product review meetings. Provides feedback pertaining to product design;
- Confers with Manufacturing to ensure designs meet the company’s manufacturing capabilities;
- Attends trade shows and conventions to provide technical support
