Electrical Controls Engineer
Internationally-respected automation integration solutions provider seeks mid level Controls Engineer with experience in consulting, water/wastewater background and PLC, HMI programming/design experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; preferably electrical, chemical, mechanical
- 4+ years of process controls & automation engineering experience
- PE/EIT license a plus
- PLC's, HMI's, VFD, SCADA programming & design experience
- PLC programming from scratch: Rockwell/Allen Bradley MicroLogix, SLC, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, FlexLogix, Rockwell Studio 5000 and Schneider Electric Unity
- HMI: FactoryTalk View SE & ME, RSView, Intellution GE iFix, VTScada, Wonderware InTouch & ArchestrA
- SCADA: Dream Reports, XL Reporter, Proficy Historian, iHistorian, Ignition
- SCADA systems and application development
- Responsible for complex instrumentation, controls and related systems designs utilizing 3D and 4D drafting
- Rockwell Historian, GE Proficy Historian, Intellution iHistorian databases
- Water/Wastewater industry experience, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Environmental, Pharmaceutical, Central Plant Utilities, Cogen Plants, Power Plants, Energy, Transportation
- Ethernet communications, P&ID's, Instrumentation, Visual Basic, Visual C, Networking
- Develop solutions for SCADA projects
- Instrumentation & control panel design
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally at times (10-25% approx)
- US Citizenship or Green Card required
