Controls Technician - Navy Nuclear Submarine Electricians
Premier Automation Systems Integrator seeks Electrical Controls Technician, ideally out of Navy Nuclear Submarine Electronics program:
- Experience with industrial processes and industrial controls such as PLC’s/HMI’s/AC & DC Drives, etc.
- Data Centers, Energy Efficiency, Industrial HVAC, Central Plant Utilities, Cogen Plants, Coal Fired Power Plants, Mission Critical, Combined Cooling Heat and Power
- Process Controls: Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Semiconductor, Biotech, large-scale Pharmaceutical, etc.
- Building Management Systems/Building Automation Systems
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk, Wonderware experience a plus
- Ability to read, interpret, and redline electrical schematics
- Start up, commissioning, troubleshooting of electrical/instrumentation systems
- Ability to use a multi meter to troubleshoot & correct issues with electrical & control circuits, instrumentation, drives, etc
- Experience completing I/O checkouts & identifying, diagnosing, and correcting problems that arise
- Experience managing technical install
- Advise subcontractors for controls install
- Ability to design control panels a plus
- Client interaction skills
- Ability to travel 30-50%
