Job Details:
This position is responsible to the GM with some reporting responsibilities to the President, COO, and CEO. This person is responsible to manage the flow of work through all shops to insure the on time delivery of all projects by communicating with both project managers and shop management while managing multiple people to maintain a steady work flow through the shops.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling
- Maintain a production schedule that meets the needs of the shops and keeps a backlog of work.
- Obtain project schedules from the project managers and track when work will be released and required to be on site. Work with the PMs to maintain drawings releases to the shop.
- As drawings are released, oversee the batching of drawings and update the schedule accordingly
- The shop schedule will need to be reviewed daily to ensure all shops have the appropriate work orders released.
- Meet with Plant Managers daily to review shop needs while reviewing their progress against their schedules.
Candidate should come out a heavy fabrication ( shop) familiar with CNC equipment & other shop related equipment. Individual should be a visionary able to be ready with materials & equipment for up & coming projects.
