Business Objects Developer
My client is looking for a ETL / Business Objects Developer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position, the Business Objects developer will:
• Provide Business Objects expertise for reporting requirements gathering, design, development and deployment
• Actively work with technical and functional client resources
• Provide end user training on Business Objects ad hoc report design and Web Intelligence usage
• Facilitate the project meetings on reporting design and process needs
• Develop a variety of detailed Business Objects end user reports
• Maintain, modify, enhance, and add to existing Business Object Universe
• Adhere to and follow customer development lifecycle and migration procedures
• Recommend improvements to existing reporting based on Business Objects knowledge and experience
• Lead the reporting team through Business Objects software upgrades
• Understand ETL processes and tools
• Read and write detailed SQL Queries to gather information for Universe design and report development
• Complete documentation reporting designs
• Provide weekly status report and definitive goals
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Minimum of 5 years in Information Technology roles
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with the full Business Objects Suite v.4.x +
• Tableau software experience desired
• Informatica experience desired
• Software Requirements formulation and analysis
• Experience with large scale software implementations
• Strong analytical, organizational and administrative skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in an agile development environment desired
