Automation Project Manager
Manufacturer of automated machinery and automation systems integrator seeks Automation Project Manager or ambitious Controls Engineer with PLC, HMI programming experience looking to take the next step into a PM position:
- Bachelor's in Engineering degree, preferably electrical
- 2+ years of controls engineering project management experience preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on automation & controls engineering
- PMP or PE license a plus
- Engineering and Business intellect
- Direct existing and potential customer interaction
- Capable of articulating conceptual solutions on the fly to potential and existing customers and their associated projects
- Project Management/technical leadership preferred
- Capital Automation projects ($1M or more preferred)
- PLC's, HMI, SCADA programming and design knowledge/experience
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC, HMI programming, design & troubleshooting (2+ years programming experience)
- HMI & Operator display programming
- AC/DC Drive Configurations
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View ME & SE, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Schneider Electric/Modicon, Emerson DeltaV
- HMI: FactoryTalk View SE & ME, RSView, Intellution iFix, VTScada, Wonderware InTouch & ArchestrA
- SCADA: Proficy Historian, iHistorian, Ignition
- SCADA design, implementation of systems and application development
- Rockwell Historian, GE Proficy Historian, Intellution iHistorian databases
- Process Controls, Water/Wastewater, Material Handling, Conveyors, Food & Beverage, Packaging, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Forest Products, Pharmaceutical experience
- Instrumentation & control panel design
- Pneumatics & hydraulics; AC/DC
- Vision systems
- Allen-Bradley control systems and drives
- Willing to travel 25%
- Motion controls experience
- Able to install equipment and troubleshoot
- US Citizenship or Green Card required
- Valid driver's license
