Security Firewall Engineer - Palo Alto
Our client is seeking a Security Firewall Engineer for a long-term contract in their Wilmington, DE office. This person will work directly with the Security Team to address any issues on the Palo Alto Firewalls globally. You will be responsible for assessing the current state and clean-up any existing firewall configurations, rules and proxy configurations and rules.
Qualifications
- Ability to analyze firewall rules to categorize the rules and recommend remediation action plans
- 7+ years experience in network security and firewall engineering
- 3+ years experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Understanding of advanced firewall rulebase design and firewall object modification
- SSL Decryption techniques in the Palo Alto firewalls experience
- Experience with Agile/Scrum best practices
- MUST be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
