Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
Leading automation integration solutions provider seeks Sr. Controls Engineer with experience in water treatment and process-oriented PLC, HMI, VFD programming/design:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; preferably electrical
- 4+ years of process controls & automation engineering experience
- Technical Leadership/Project Management a plus
- Migrating manual/HMI processes to SCADA and DCS based systems utilizing RTU/PLC and HMI
- PLC's, HMI's, VFD, SCADA system programming & design experience
- HMI development: Honeywell, Siemens, Wonderware, FactoryTalk
- PLC software programming from scratch: Rockwell/Allen Bradley MicroLogix, SLC, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, FlexLogix, Siemens, Modicon
- HMI: FactoryTalk View SE & ME, RSView, Intellution iFix, VTScada, Wonderware InTouch & ArchestrA
- SCADA: Proficy Historian, iHistorian, Ignition
- SCADA design, implementation of systems and application development
- Rockwell Historian, GE Proficy Historian, Intellution iHistorian databases
- Water/Wastewater, Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities
- SCADA protocols: Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet TCP/IP
- C++ and Python
- Ethernet communications, AC/DC
- Instrumentation specification (flow, pressure, temp and level)
- P&ID development
- Ability to travel up to 40%
- Burners, turbines, separators, clarifiers, pumps with VFD’s, control valves
- CAD/AutoCAD familiarity
- Client interaction & communicative skills
- US Citizenship or Green Card required
