Our client an excellent medical education company is actively seeking a Program Manager with Continuing Medical Education experience. This role will manage the project management of assigned (CME) programs from concept thru to execution under the direction of senior leadership.
Dependent upon level and type of experience, this role will utilize a variety of CME program experience: i.e. - pharmaceutical meetings, assist with grant strategy & development, program/advisory board faculty recruitment and coordination, content/slide deck development, work flow, budget tracking, project process and plans, participant recruitment and registration, communication to the internal team as well as clients, etc.

Job duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate & Manage Medical Education Programs through to completion ensuring projects are delivered on target
- Manage live meetings/satellite symposia and overseeing onsite event execution (rooming lists, fact sheets, etc.), creation of event schedules, staffing, coordination of video shoots, organization of enduring/web-based programs, etc.
- Understand & adhere to all CME/CE guidelines (AMA, OIG, FDA, ACCME, and ACPE)
- Work with Sr Program Managers & Program Directors on Faculty management /content developers to keep projects on time and budget
- Manages all aspects of educational programs (development of timelines, status reports, project budgets, launch meetings, etc.).
- Implement meeting requirements (within allotted time, on budget and meeting set quality standards)
- Work with accredited CME Provider Partners, outside vendors, internal staff to plan and coordinate their projects from inception, meeting requirements and ensuring completion on time, within cost and to required quality standards.
- Examples of responsibilities include assisting in: managing work flow, budget tracking and management, managing project process and plans, etc., all while communicating with internal staff as well as the client.
- Remain up to date with accreditation policies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- 2+ years of medical education experience coordination/managing projects & programs. CME programs (Live/Digital/Virtual based) (MECC, CME provider)
- CME experience is REQUIRED for this role
- A four year college degree
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Computer proficient (Microsoft, Excel, etc)
- Strong CME Knowledge and understanding of ACCME Essentials, Elements, Policies, and Standards, OIG and PhRMA guidelines
- Travel is ~20%
