Job Details:
Established Independent agency in the coastal side of OC, is seeking several commercial insurance producers with an established book of business (Small to Middle market) in all markets.
In order to correctly assess the type of risks you can write, he or she must be familiar with the different array of carriers and brokers and their underwriting guidelines.
Producer must have an established territory of clients and a prospecting regimen to produce results.
Must be able to work with account managers to submit complete applications necessary for approval.
- Active P&C Insurance License required
- College degree preferred
- 2+ years in commercial insurance with a book
- New business through networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
- Set daily and weekly appointments and meet with potential clients to help identify and meet client’s needs.
- Offer expert insurance policy recommendations based upon client’s needs.
- Prepare and develop illustrations and case designs in order to close sales.
- Provide excellent ongoing service and support to existing clients.
- Discipline to be a self-starter and ability to conduct business for yourself
- AMS or EPIC helpful, Salesforce or CRM software
