Electrical Controls & Automation Engineer
Leading Controls & Automation solutions provider seeks Controls Engineer with PLC, HMI programming, design and implementation. Background in hydroelectric controls systems is strongly preferred:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering; Electrical preferred
- 2+ years of Controls/Automation Engineering experience
- PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD design, programming, development and commissioning
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Siemens, FactoryTalk View ME/SE, Wonderware ArchestrA & InTouch, Modicon, Schneider Electric
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Hydraulics & pneumatics
- Field Acceptance Tests (FAT), Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Oversee control panel production
- Train customers at start-ups
- Power Generation, Hydroelectric, Water Power strongly preferred; Energy Efficiency, Cogen Plants, Central Plant Utility industry experience
- Project management/technical leadership preferred
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%)
- Tremendous client interaction skills
- US Citizenship or Green Card
