Electrical Power Engineer (PE)
Leading EPC firm seeks hands-on, PE Electrical Engineer with electrical distribution system design/layout and Arc Flash experience:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- PE License or ability to obtain
- 8+ years of design and layout of medium and low volt electrical distribution systems for heavy industrial
- Knowledge of system and equipment grounding requirements (high resistance, building and isolated grounding)
- Understanding of generation and power factor correction
- Experience in Power System Analysis and familiar with ETAP
- Understand Motor Schematic, Three-line and Wiring diagram
- Pulp and paper, chemicals, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals preferred
- Field experience in related environment
- Utility distribution and transmission engineering design
- Arc flash analysis
- CAD capable
- ETAP, SKM and Easypower software
- Specific knowledge of the NEC to properly size and layout electrical distribution equipment and devices
- Properly size motor feeders, motor starters, feeder breakers
- Estimate electrical construction and installation costs
- Project Management experience
- Ability to travel
- Great client interaction skills
