SENIOR PROJECT ARCHITECT/PROJECT MANAGER

Philadelphia Area architecture & design studio is seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect/Project Manager who has worked with a wide variety of project types and sizes involving client engagement, design development, production oversight, consultant coordination and leadership responsibilities. The Senior Project Architect/PM performs architectural design and production oversight for projects involving construction of new buildings and the alteration of existing buildings and facilities.

Role:
Initiate and develop project proposals and contracts in consultation with Principals.
Work with project team(s) and clients to establish project objectives and delivery methodology.
Develop project priorities and schedules for design, documentation process, permitting, bidding/construction procurement and construction administration.
Develop strategy for document production to include BIM management.
Research and evaluate alternative design solutions while maintaining technical quality, constructability, budget and design control.
Oversee and coordinate preparation of working drawings, budgeting, schedules, specifications, planning and design with authority to direct, control, and monitor all activities.
Incorporate selected sustainable design solutions within projects where applicable.
Ensure technical execution of design intent throughout design development, documentation and construction.
Coordinate activities of project consultant team.
Provide supervision, mentorship and quality-control review of support staff.
Requirements to Succeed:

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
Architectural Licensure.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in an architectural firm is required.
Broad range of project type and construction type experience.
A ‘can do’ work attitude on all tasks from the mundane to the extraordinary.
Self-motivated and pro-active.
Good communication skills: Verbal & Written.
Experienced in all different aspects of the profession.
A Team Player
Revit Experience a plus
Have an interest in growing with the firm and being an essential part of a successful organization
