Automation Controls Engineer
Job Duties:
- Extensive travel to client locations
- Design controls & automation systems specific to client’s needs
- Test and correct any issues with equipment prior to it leaving for installation with the clients
- Provide customer support including troubleshooting & training
- Assist with the installation and commissioning process
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of related experience
- A strong understanding of automation systems, including PLC’s, HMI’s, SCADA, drives, etc.
- Programming, design experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell, Delta V and other systems.
- Experience working in heavy industrial settings such as oil & gas, mining, steel, chemical manufacturing, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- HMI: FactoryTalk View SE & ME, RSView, Intellution iFix, VTScada, Wonderware InTouch & ArchestrA
- SCADA: Proficy Historian, iHistorian, Ignition
- Rockwell Historian, GE Proficy Historian, Intellution iHistorian databases
- Ethernet communications, P&ID's
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to travel extensively
