Metallurgical Quality Engineer
Seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with a good background in Metallurgy working with Rolled Steel in a Hot Strip Mill.
The employee will play an a key role in the process of Rolled Steel in a Hot Strip Mill. Attention to detail and quality is critical for this highly specialized parts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Material's Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years related work experience
- Experience with Metallurgical SOP's in a mill environment
- Rolled Steel experience
- Steel/Metals Experience
- Quality, Materials and Metallurgy experience
- Working with Quality Director assess and improve quality while meeting SOP's and Req's
- Ability to work independently and as party of team
- Experience with steel or related industry in a Hot Mill
- All candidates MUST be US Citizens or Green Card holders
