Job Duties:
- Interact with the purchasing department to find and negotiate with the best vendors and suppliers for the organization
- Help ensure quality of supplies and raw materials
- Conduct audits of current suppliers
- Work with the product development team to determine what materials & supplies are needed
- Interact with administration as needed
- Interact with manufacturing
- Visit supplier sites and meet with suppliers
- Generate reports
- Maintain schedules and budgets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years Manufacturing experience
- Experience supporting and working on Product Development
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Quality Auditing experience is a plus
- Experience working with plastics and a variety of other materials
