Job Details:
Healthcare Planner
- The position is that of a planner and consultant providing support to healthcare clients, design professionals and contractors
- Evaluation, selection, and use of standard techniques for Healthcare Planning
- Lead client and user meetings
- Provide solutions by offering options and recommending compromises
- Provide space plan solutions in the form of project-specific concepts, test fits, etc.
- Test the space program against client established parameters that may include existing space, budget and time-frame for implementation, etc.
- Creates the space program and functional program for projects
- Develop a space and facilities program that responds to the overall needs and goals
- Manages documents studies and reports as required for AHJ agency review
- Provide solutions in compliance with codes, including life safety, FGI Guidelines, etc. established CRITERIA
- Reviews the capacity of existing and proposed spaces
- Consults with other specialties, including equipment planning, security, acoustics, food service, building and interior design consultants, etc.
- Bachelors and/or Masters’ Degree in Architecture
- 10 plus years’ experience
- Revit skills
- Well-versed in the FGI guidelines
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- The ability to lead client meetings
- Registration is a plus
Requirements
Bachelors’ degree in Architecture or Interior Design or other technical degree. Well versed in Revit for BIM. 10 plus years’ experience as a Healthcare Planning. The ability to excel in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, with an emphasis on customer service, teamwork, communication, follow-through and accuracy.
