Network Security Architect
Network Security Architect to design and implement security technologies that align with the overall company’s security program. This role is Strategic and Tactical; you have to see the big picture but when necessary, you’ll have to jump in and sit on a keyboard. This is a full-time role with the following benefits: Insurance / PTO / Education – Training Funds / 401k / Bonus Potential. This is NOT a remote role, and all candidates must office in Houston, on the North-side of town.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science or STEM major.
- Network Focused!
- Looking for junior level – must have project focus.
- Experience with: Network Architecture, Palo Alto, Global Protect Cloud Services, SAAS, Monitoring Tools, MUST be familiar with OT and Network segmentation. At least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting large enterprise Cisco networks with design and administration.
- Experience should include Cisco 3xxx/4xxx/ASR/ISR routers, Nexus 4K/7K, 45xx/38xx/93xx switches, ASA firewalls, IPS. (CCNP, CCISP, CCIE, etc). o Strong understanding of network concepts and routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), MPLS, VPLS, VoIP, QoS/CoS, S2S VPN, and security/compliance.
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and presentation, you are going to be communicating across teams and up and down the company hierarchy.
