Tax Manager
Role:
As a Tax Manager, you will be working with the VP of Tax and responsible for leading a small team of tax professionals as well as the oversight of day to day tax department. This would include provisions, reporting, planning, compliance, ASC 740, disclosures, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise direct reports within the tax department as well as the day to day tax operations
- Work with the VP of Tax in implementing processes, procedures, efficiencies, etc.
- Manage the organization’s monthly ASC 740 compliance and reporting
- Oversee federal and state income tax
- Assist with federal, state, and local audits
- Perform research on new tax laws, strategies, compliance, improvements, etc.
- Special projects as assigned
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree is required. Masters in Tax is preferred
- CPA or progress towards is preferred
- 5+ years of public tax accounting or corporate tax experience is required
- Prior ASC 740 experience is required
