Marketing Manager, Bulk Industries

My client is looking to expand their team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. 

Primary responsibility as Marketing Manager will be to deeply understand market, buyer, and user needs to help inform our product and go-to-market strategies. The Market Manager will collaborate with the product, user experience, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to grow and sell a B2B product in a dynamic, rapidly-evolving market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive the detailed market sizing, opportunity identification as well as the assessment of the customer value-creation from application perspective 
  • Help define parameters and concepts for go-to-market and business model and commercialization strategy and related launch plan
  • Create and drive the marketing promotional blueprint of existing PSOs, relaunches and extensions
  • Develop initiatives and campaigns to successfully implement Application Growth strategies & plans
  • Responsible for the content and strategic side of marketing for both new and existing Application PSOs
  • Responsible for trade show planning and execution.

Qualified candidates should have a background in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing; MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years of product marketing or product management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of digital marketing experience (videos, customer testimonials, and other alternatives to print ads, etc.). 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to relate to and influence people across all levels and functions. 
  • Proficient at translating market insights and use that information to productively fuel product and sales growth, monitor and report industry trends
  • Excellent communication skills, including impeccable writing and presentation skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-friendly content
  • Strong analytical skills; demonstrated capabilities executing end-to-end quantitative and qualitative customer research and effectively identifying and interpreting key findings
  • Experience developing and validating positioning, category creation, messaging, and competitive segmentation
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are analytical in nature
  • Able to work in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment
  • Approximately 15% travel.
