Job Details:
Structural & Civil Engineer
Distinguished Automation & Controls Systems Integrator seeks Structural Engineer with PE license to aid in development of mechanical & structural construction:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; preferably Civil or Mechanical
- 5+ years experience with design and layout of mechanical systems in petrochemical, refinery, Oil & Gas & heavy industrial environments.
- Strong civil/structural background
- PE license
- Read & interpret P&ID's
- Drafting skills (symbols, orientation)
- Ability to layout plant equipment and facilities to maximize efficiency
- Dexterity to climb ladders and work in elevated locations
- AutoCAD Lt proficiency as a sketch tool
- material classification sheets
- basic stress analysis knowledge
- create mechanical/structure documents with complete Bill of Materials
- equipment familiarity includes pumps, valves, tanks, vessels, compressors
- Ability to travel
- Great client interaction skills
