Electrical Controls Instrument Technician I
Top Automation Systems Integrator seeks young, ambitious Instrument Technician with experience wiring and/or testing control panels (PLC/VFD) and a background in Industrial Instrumentation & Control Systems:
- Read & interpret schematics, drawings as well as comprehension of electricity & circuits
- Associate's degree in Instrumentation & Controls or equivalent experience in Industial Instrumentation, Automation and Controls
- 1+ years experience troubleshooting & calibrating control systems
- Install/Set up instrumentation & calibrate using different meters & tools
- Preventative & corrective maintenance
- Instrumentation installation experience
- Experience with install and maintenance projects for automating large industrial processes
- Testing functions (control panels)
- Experience working with PLC's, HMI's, DCS & SCADA systems including Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Wonderware, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Emerson DeltaV, Schneider Electric and/or Modicon
- Troubleshoot I/O's
- Water/Wastewater, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, Material Handling, Semiconductor, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Cogen Plants, Data Centers,
- Machine Controls & Process Controls experience
- Experience working in the field at customer sites
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
- CCST and Fiber Optic certifications a plus
- Ability to work well independently
