Job Details:
IT Specialist Network Administrator
You will be proficient with windows server operating systems, domain setup, network experience including Cisco switches and firewalls and virtualization software experience.
VMWare, VM ESXI Configuration – virtual environment configuration, setup and troubleshooting, etc.
Cisco Switch Work, Cloud, Networks, and Hardening Server environment.
Firewalls and Virtualization Software experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
IT Specialist Network Administrator/Cisco VMWare Administrator
Cloud, Networks, and Hardening Server environment security
Secure Cloud Computing Environment, Secure Server, Server hardening
Windows Server OS Configuration – Domain setup, master time keeper and time sync, firewall and security setup
VM ESXi Configuration – virtual environment configuration, setup and trouble shooting
Cisco Switch Work – tiered network configuration, LDP, security setup and console programming
Update existing switch OS / Firmware due to EOL (end of life)
Image creation – creating and taking image backups or servers and workstations
Ability to dig into server logs for root cause analysis of Data Hub configuration files becoming corrupt
Full understanding of how to work with all of the server event logs
Must have an understanding of hardening both Server and Windows 10
Bachelors’ Degree or related work experience. 3 plus years’ experience.
Industry experience – any manufacturing, engineering environment. Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, is a plus.
