Mechanical Systems Engineer
King of Prussia, PA
110-130K and bonus
Role:
As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing packaged equipment and systems. This would include new product and existing product design specifically around hydraulic design, piping, & structural. It's a full scope position that will be involved with integration, testing, commissioning, mechanical analysis, support, as well as working cross functionally with engineering, manufacturing, operations, customers, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop new competitive equipment and systems
- Own the product development cycle - design, implementation, reviews, testing, installation, commissioning, analysis, etc.
- Perform analysis and testing as well as act as field support
- Work directly with customers to pinpoint exact needs
- Work cross functionally with engineering, sales, stakeholders, manufacturing, operations, etc.
- Be the subject matter expert and present analytics, process improvements, cost savings, solutions development, etc.
- Special projects including continuous improvement projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is required
- Masters is a plus
- 5+ years of experience with hydraulics, piping, and structural design
- Prior knowledge or experience within the chemical industry is required
- Strong CAD experience is a plus
