Mechanical Engineer
Greater Philadelphia Area (relocation is available)
105-125K and Bonus
Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be focused and the key subject matter expert on rotating machinery as well as their respective systems design and development. This would include designing new products, improving existing products, working research and development, analysis, drawings, testing, installation, commissioning, as well working cross functionally with engineering, manufacturing, operations, customers, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop new products as well as suggest new designs for Machinery improvements
- Own the product and systems development cycle - design, drawings, implementation, reviews, testing, installation, commissioning, analysis, etc.
- Perform analysis and testing
- Work cross functionally with engineering, sales, stakeholders, manufacturing, operations, etc.
- Work directly with customers to pinpoint exact needs
- Be the subject matter expert and present analytics, process improvements, cost savings, solutions development, etc.
- Special projects including continuous improvement projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is required
- Masters, MBA, or PHD is highly preferred
- 5+ years of experience with high speed rotating equipment is required
- Prior knowledge or experience within the chemical industry is required
- Strong CAD experience is a plus
