Human Resource Business Partner
Allentown, PA
Role:
As a Human Resource Business Partner, you'll be based at a plant location, fully responsible for managing multiple plants from a human resource generalist, labor relations and strategy standpoint as well as partnering with other regional sites here within the U.S and globally. This would include operational human resource activities with several unions, assisting with the recruiting team, succession planning and talent management, labor relations, learning and development, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all HR operational functions for this and multiple (regional) plant locations within the region
- Drive recruiting, staffing, talent management, succession planning, etc.
- Partner with managers to identify issues, concern, solutions, etc.
- Partner with leaders and employees to help drive learning and development
- Support and guide employees on any human resource issues
- Work with corporate human resource partners with labor relations, contracts, bargaining agreements, disagreements, etc.
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree is required.
- 8+ years of human resource experience within a manufacturing environment is required
- Prior labor relations (contract negotiations, grievances, arbitration, collective bargaining agreements and union) exp is required
- Multi-site experience is highly preferred
- Open to travel up to 30% domestically (Most will be locally within an hour drive)
