Jr. Electrical Controls Engineer
Renowned Automation Systems Integrator seeks technically sound electrical engineer with PLC, Drives and SCADA/HMI experience. Strong process knowledge is necessary - steel industry exp is a major plus:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; preferably electrical or industrial technology
- 2+ years of controls engineering experience
- Steel industry experience strongly preferred; Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Aluminum, Packaging, Paper, Plastics, Material Handling, Utilities, Mining or minerals experience
- Data Centers, Cogen Plants, Central Plant Utilities, Combined Cooling, Heating & Power experience a plus
- Drives experience
- Programming, design of PLC, HMI code from scratch; AC/DC motors and drives
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk, Siemens, Wonderware programming from scratch
- HMI: FactoryTalk View SE & ME, RSView, Intellution iFix, VTScada, Wonderware InTouch & ArchestrA
- SCADA: Proficy Historian, iHistorian
- Rockwell Historian, GE Proficy Historian, Intellution iHistorian databases
- Practical design and commissioning experience with Siemens 6RA80 DC Drives and Siemens S120 AC drives strongly preferred
- Any Technical Leadership aptitude or experience (Project Management)
- Ability to travel at least 30%
- Superior client interaction skills
