Survey Project Manager
Surveyor – Land Development – Civil Engineering
Our client is actively looking to hire a Survey Project Manager for their Surveying Department.
Responsibilities for this role include, but not limited to:
- Position involves a wide variety of tasks such as performing GPS network adjustments, survey data reduction/adjustments, plat/map preparation, construction layout calculations.
- Monitors projects interfacing with clients on technical matters.
- Ability to assign tasks and schedules for multiple survey crews
- Ability to provide overall QA/QC checks of assigned survey tasks completed by other survey staff corporately and prepare or assist in the preparation of surveying related documents
- Survey analysis and final map checking, research title data, record drawings research, and client relations.
- Works within defined project scopes and budgets. Manages deadlines and prioritizes assignments.
- Coordinate and interact with field crews, including providing job assignments, information, direction and daily checking of field notes.
- Verifies the accuracy, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Review and processes the results of field surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation and dimensions of land features and structures.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS degree a plus, with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in the survey profession with at least 5 years of experience working in an office role
- Professional surveying license/certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Access & Word)
- Mastery level knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD & Civil 3D
- Leica Cyclone and Cloud Works experience a plus
- Assist with Land Surveying Development marketing initiatives
- Candidates must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
