Sr. Electrical Engineer (PE)
Renowned Automation Systems Integrator seeks hands-on, PE Electrical Engineer with electrical distribution system design/layout and Arc Flash experience:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- PE License preferred
- 8+ years of design and layout of electrical distribution systems for heavy industrial, oil & gas, refining, pipeline industries
- Experience with Hazardous Area Classification
- Experience in Power System Analysis and familiar with ETAP
- Understand Motor Schematic, Three-line and Wiring diagram
- Petrochemical industry experience strongly preferred
- 8+ years experience with Medium and high voltage electrical building and substations; including design, installation, and vendor coordination
- Field experience in related environment
- Arc flash analysis required
- Direct Junior staff and CAD resources
- ETAP, SKM and Easypower software
- Specific knowledge of the NEC to properly size and layout electrical distribution equipment and devices
- Properly size motor feeders, motor starters, feeder breakers
- Estimate electrical construction and installation costs
- Project Management experience
- Ability to travel
- Great client interaction skills
