Job Details:
Seeking an experienced Lean Engineer to help streamline production and implement and oversee Lean manufacturing principles.
Job Duties:
- Help oversee the production department in a heavy manufacturing setting
- Think progressively and plan ahead rather than react
- Create new shop and manufacturing floor layouts
- Interact with our departments
- Train and supervise employees including junior level engineers and shop workers
- Oversee and implement Lean manufacturing practices
- Achieve and maintain set production numbers
- Create and maintain schedules
- Create and maintain budgets
- Conduct time studies
- Create and submit reports to upper level management
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- 4 or more years experience in Lean Manufacturing setting
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply chain, or related
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
