Seeking an experienced Controls Engineer out of the heavy industrial sector.
Job Duties:
- Travel to client locations
- Program PLC's and HMI's
- Design controls & automation systems specific to client’s needs
- Test and correct any issues with equipment prior to it leaving for installation with the clients
- Provide customer support including troubleshooting & training
- Assist with the installation and commissioning process
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of related experience
- A strong understanding of automation systems, including PLC’s HMI’s, drives, etc.
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell, Delta V and other systems.
- Experience working in heavy industrial settings such as oil & gas, mining, steel, chemical manufacturing, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to travel
