Electrical Control Engineer
Nationally-renowned Automation Systems Integrator seeks technically sound electrical engineer with PLC, Drives and SCADA/HMI experience. Strong process knowledge is required. Steel industry experience is a major plus:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; preferably electrical
- 4+ years of controls engineering experience
- Project management/technical leadership
- Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Steel or Aluminum, Material Handling, Packaging, Metals, Pulp & Paper, Plastics, Automotive, Mining or minerals experience
- Combined Cooling Heating & Power, Data Centers, Cogen Plants, Central Plant Utilities
- Program/write & develop PLC, HMI code from scratch
- Desire to handle some Project Manager responsibilities including Financial performance, scheduling, status meetings, etc.
- Siemens S5
- AC/DC drives, switchgear, loop checks
- PLC programming from scratch: , Allen Bradley MicroLogix, SLC, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, FlexLogix, Siemens, Modicon, Schneider Electric, GE Fanuc
- HMI: FactoryTalk View SE & ME, RSView, Intellution iFix, VTScada, Wonderware InTouch & ArchestrA, GE iFix
- SCADA: Proficy Historian, iHistorian, Ignition
- SCADA systems and application development
- Rockwell Historian, GE Proficy Historian, Intellution iHistorian databases
- Development control system architectures (AutoCAD)
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley SLC/PLC, FactoryTalk, Siemens S7, DeltaV, Wonderware, GE 90
- Siemens DC 6RA80 experience
- Leadership ability
- Ability to travel at times
- Client interaction skills
