Ruby on Rails Developer - Quakertown, PA - (flexible with working from home)
Full time perm - competitive base + bonus
My client has a full time opening for a Ruby on Rails Developer. This role is open due to continued company growth and the ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
- Proven experience with Ruby on Rails or similar web frameworks
- A history working on large-scale applications in Ruby on Rails using modern best practices
- Some experience using Services and testing with Rspec
- Experience with NoSQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- You have experience writing modular, scalable JavaScript (vanilla & jQuery) for the front-end
- You can drop into an established code base and get acquainted quickly
- Very comfortable in Git (and by extension, Github) & the *nix terminal
- Test Driven Development
- Pluses: experience with DevOps, Redis, ElasticSearch
