Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting
The Financial Reporting Accountant will assist with the monthly accounting close including consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, financial statement analytics, management reporting packages, and monthly reporting for lenders and investors. Also, this person will work with the outside accounting firm during audits. Though the position is focused on general ledger accounting and financial reporting, this role will assist with operational reports and other items as needed. In addition, this person will strive for continuous process improvement, help develop enhanced reporting capabilities and implement additional financial controls as the company grows.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong general and technical accounting background and can adapt quickly to the changing demands.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with current understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Candidate should either be currently licensed as a CPA, or have a desire to obtain their license
• 4+ years of work experience as a senior accountant or in the audit function at a nationally recognized Public Accounting firm
