My client is a building automation and energy management company that is actively looking for Building Automation Controls Technicians who can troubleshoot, program, install and service building automation systems. Therefore, knowledge of building automation systems is essential. All clients are local to Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens! The BAS Controls technician work on large-scale equipment and systems often found in industrial and commercial facilities. Their main duties include repairing, maintaining, and installing systems involving Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) processes. The BAS controls technician will provide quality control while balancing the constraints of a project budget with the expectations of the client, insuring the client receives a product that exceeds their expectations, meets project specifications and performs the intended functions. In order to be successful a BAS controls technician must conduct extensive self study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines.
