ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
Mid-sized construction general contractor based in New York City is looking for an experienced Assistant Superintendent.
The secondary manager onsite for coordinating construction activities on specific commercial construction projects. Responsible for assisting in the management of day to day field operations. Coordination of subcontractors, labor forces and materials delivery to ensure a smooth and efficient construction process. Oversight of quality control and project safety measures are also key areas of responsibility.
Description:
· Assist the project superintendent.
· Maintain site safety and site security measures.
· Help to oversee labor forces on the work site.
· Receive and log in materials deliveries.
· Assist with project quality control.
· Complete punch list work.
