Job Details:
An established and growing company has an immediate need for a SQL Database Administrator. This is a full time role offering a generous bonus structure and equity options as well as some other highly desirable perks.
Qualified candidates will meet these requirements
- Professional experience developing solutions on MS SQL databases
- Experience with MS SQL database and query performance optimization
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes, text parsing/regular expressions and shell/perl scripting on Windows
- Extensive experience in data modeling and database architecture
- Ability to apply architectural patterns and principles to achieve reusability, testability, scalability and maintainability
- 3+ years’ Experience in C#, MVC/ASP.Net, Kendo UI, WEBAPI, jQuery, MS Visual Studio/TFS
- Ability to design modules independently
- Participate in peer code reviews
Desired Skills:
- Must have excellent data relationship / data interfaces / SQL query skills
- Participate in full stack development
- High integrity, energetic, optimistic, self-directed and motivated
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to own work from problem to resolutions
- Lead and contribute in development, documentation, deployment and automation of delivery
- Ability to confer with peers, architects, BAs and product owners to backwards engineer legacy integrations and develop technical requirements without a BRD
